Guide Dogs & Assistance Animals
Guide dogs and other assistance animals are welcome inside all areas of the Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema. To ensure appropriate seating is allocated, please inform us of your needs at the time of booking.
Assistive Listening Devices (ALD)
The Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema is equipped with Assistive Listening Device (ALD) technology. Receivers for this service can be collected from the Box Office prior to your event and returned at the end. Please inform us at the time of booking if you require this service.
ACROD Parking
There are 58 general purpose car bays located on premises, with an additional two bays allocated specifically for ACROD permit holders. Overflow parking is also available at Dreamer's Corner, adjacent to the Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema.
Venue Access & Accessible Seating
The premises can be accessed via the wheelchair accessible paths which lead from ACROD parking areas, and there are two seating areas allocated specifically for wheelchairs within the theatre/cinema. Wheelchair seating configuration may be varied depending on the specific nature of events, please contact us if you wish to book seating in accessible areas.
Alternatively, general purpose seating is also available, with staff on hand to assist you with moving between your wheelchair and seat. Staff will assist you with wheelchair storage and return as required.
Companions
The Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema recognises Companion Cards for all events. Companion Card holders will not be required to pay for the cost of tickets for their carer, however, Companion Card Tickets must be obtained from the Box Office during opening hours. Your Companion Card must be presented, along with a valid Companion Card Ticket on event entry.
Accessible Toilets
There are wheelchair accessible toilets located within the venue.
Prams, Strollers & Walking Aids
Prams and strollers are only allowed within the foyer as all walkways within the theatre/cinema must be kept clear for safety purposes in the event of an emergency. Prams and strollers may be left at the foyer during your show, however the Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema accepts no responsibility for items left on our premises.
Walking aids which cannot fit under your seat will be kept for you during your show. Staff will assist you with storage and return as required.
Parent Facilities
Baby change facilities are located in both the male and female toilets.
