The 21st Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is coming to the Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema on Friday 14 May, 7:30pm for one show only.

This year’s show will be hosted by Kevin Kropinyeri with special guests Nikki Britton, Patrick Collins and Randy Feltface.

The Roadshow is visiting 80 destinations across Australia, with the show featuring stand-up, sketch, satire, silliness and songs to satisfy the audience’s comedy cravings.

The show is rated MA15+, with the performance containing coarse language, sexual references and material that may offend.

Following last year’s cancellation due to the unfolding Covid-19 pandemic, the comedians are chomping at the bit to break out from the barriers, shake off the seclusion and roll out the laughs.

Mayor Peter Carter encouraged local residents to attend the show, reflecting on the strong return of arts and culture offerings in Hedland following a difficult 12 months.

“I’d like to thank the Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema team for bringing the 21st Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow to Hedland, giving residents a taste of some of Australia’s leading comedians on the local stage.

“It’s great to see live shows back on the horizon after a year of cancellations and uncertainty, which is great news for audiences and a welcome return to form for the creative industries.

“The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is an audience favourite which has sold out in previous years, so I encourage you to get in quick and purchase a ticket online.

“As outlined in the Town’s Arts and Culture Strategy 2019-2022, we’re committed to staging diverse live performance shows throughout the year.”
