Circus Spark: Whip & Lasso Edition

Ignite Your Skills One Snap at a Time

Sugar Blue Burlesque

Thursday 12 June 2025, 5:30pm – 7:00pm

In this unique 1.5 hour workshop, learn from skilled circus artist Dale Woodbridge-Brown, an intro to whips and lasso.

The workshop will begin with some movement and a warm up followed by the skills section.

Dale will teach the basics of whip and lasso manipulation. If you have an adult hula hoop,  please bring it along as Dale can also teach some circus hooping skills during the workshop.

Please note that whips take up some space, so the workshop might feel a little slow at times as he will need to focus on 1 person at a time and for everyone to take turns, however the workshop is always fun and supportive as participants are still learning while watching other participants.
